Due to an overwhelming response to the 2010-2011 Nassau Country Down Payment Assistance Program, the Long Island Housing Partnership will no longer be accepting down payment assistance applications. They have reached their limit of eligible application for this year.
Attention First Time Home buyers
Families and individuals who qualify for a mortgage and need additional funds for their down payment and closing costs may be eligible to receive a $20,000 Nassau County Down Payment Assistance Grant. If you do not qualify for a mortgage at this time, extensive free counselling is available to get you mortgage ready and hopefully you can qualify during future windows of opportunity. Applications are available October 1st, 2010. Don't miss out. Now is the time to buy. Home prices are down, interest rates are still historically low. Please contact me for the grant eligibility. |
